Just another attack on Democrats. No offer of viable solutions.

Both sides need to set down together and work out a viable new immigration bill. It is way past due.

LTC Trent Klug - If the Border Patrol "encountered" them. that means they were caught. That means the BP is doing it's job.

It's the constant back and forth which by all accounts is mostly being perpetuated by the Democrat leadership and pundits. President Biden recently asked what is the GOP plan, as if they don't have one, but they do. Biden knows they do, he just doesn't agree with it. Countless times GOP leaders and Conservatives in general have demanded a more secure border, to discontinue incentivizing illegal immigrants from coming here, and to even start getting more active against the narco-terrorists and human traffickers at or near our border. If Mexico will not collaborate and allow us to operate in their country to end the violence at the border, then we need to start considering economic and diplomatic options which will not favor them. These ideas have been articulated time and time again and the Democrats refuse to agree to any of it. Why? Their claim is that we should first grant amnesty and promote ideas like DACA and similar efforts. That is precisely one of the reasons we have a border problem... Incentives! So no. Secure it first, pass better immigration laws to remove the loopholes, and then we can discuss who's here and what to do about them.

But to the Democrat leaders, these people have been out of sight, out of mind, until TX and FL started sending them into their communities, replicating the issues we deal with in TX and FL all the time. Now all the sudden the Republicans are evil? Really? The fact is, now that their communities are threatened, they feel the dire need to rectify the problem by moving them again. Martha's Vinyard was a complete example of this. Illegal Immigrants were dropped off, they had a fit, and then scrambled to have them moved elsewhere (out of sight and out of mind). All while offering them hugs as they essentially thought, "don't let the door hit you in the ass as you leave our precious community." What was their excuse? They don't have enough housing to facilitate tens of people dropped off in one of the wealthiest locations in the US? Sure...

The demand for a new immigration bill is nothing more than a cop out, a means to stall any action, and to keep the advantage. What advantage is that? They use this to claim they are more empathetic (despite the fact their so-called empathy is tied to more drugs, human trafficking, and even slavery). Democrats defending their positions love to say these people can take the job no one wants in the farmlands and various other manual labor-intensive positions. What if they don't want those jobs? Will they be required to do them? Should we automatically enroll them into welfare? How are we going to pay for all that? This is why the emphasis needs to be on incentivizing people to come here legally by offering this country something it needs. The suggestion that the GOP is making shit up, when we note the underlying plan to increase the Democrat base by eventually turning these people into citizens and being able to say, "we did that, vote for us," is ludicrous. This is precisely what they're doing and it's evident in how hard they are already pushing to give them voting rights and/or citizenship.

Next time the GOP has enough control to pass a bill which addresses the border and several of the loopholes in our laws, if any of them back away from such a thing without any good reasons, I will absolutely take issue with that. But for now, the only ones standing in the way are going to likely be the Senate and absolutely the President. Once again, we went down the amnesty route before and it came back to bite this country in the ass. President Regan compromised, we set new laws, and many of those are bypassed or ignored while Democrats demand more amnesty and more incentives. So, instead of ~2M people looking for amnesty, we're probably looking at more like 10-20M with more people likely to rush their way into the country hoping they too can join the party.

CMSgt Marcus Falleaf - Won't happen until enough Democrats not only recognize this is a problem, but also devote energy into articulating it, and demanding of their party leaders to fix it or lose their vote. But when it's out of sight, out of mind, and many cannot see the direct correlation to how it hurts them and this country, they simply don't care. This is why applauded TX and FL for sending them a small piece of our problem.

Funny enough, there are a boat load of people who don't even think the masses of people exist and are being transported all around this country. I flew out of San Antonio a couple of weeks ago and I am not exaggerating when I say roughly 1/3rd to half the plane was filled with illegal immigrants. How do I know? I speak Spanish and I talked to the mother (baby in tow) sitting next to me, terrified on her very first flight. This is happening, it is a problem, and the Democrats are absolutely enabling and encouraging it. If the media as a whole would do their job, they'd actually report on it.
