SPC Bill Bailey - I guess I should have wrote that better, the foot lockers wasn't the good wooden ones, they were the ones that had the locks built in and were made out of some kind of thick cardboard. They were the large ones, I had taken out the shelf and it was hard to close the lid.

Have read a lot about the p-38 in the Pacific and North Africa. this was a very piece on European operations. I have a P-38J "Putt Putt Maru" Mahogany Model. Colonel Charles Henry "Mac" MacDonald (November 23, 1914 - March 3, 2002) was a United States Air Force officer and a fighter ace of World War II. flew as the 475th Fighter Group for 20 months and become the third ranking fighter ace in the Pacific during World War II.
