Thank you for sharing this story. We’ve been to Belgium, and walked in some of the same places these heroes walked and fought. Every story tugs at my heart. I have so much RESPECT and gratitude for these heroes.

Pfc. Melvin Biddle of the 517th PIR takes out the first of five German positions near Hotten, Belgium, on his way to earning the MoH during the Battle of the Bulge.
