Buckle up!

I run a subscription farm service that provides poultry, meat, dairy, and produce. I have 72 subscriber families and a waiting list of another 40 or so. My subscribers are very concerned and are asking to increase their allotments. They particularly want more of their allotment prepped for mid-term storage (canned, pickled, smoked or salted and root cellar storage.) I also have people who don't farm with small parcels who want me to farm their parcels on a split. And some who are willing to work on the farm some hours to help decrease the price of their subscription.

A lot of very concerned people out there who know what they are looking at. We saw this before at a much smaller scale in the 70's and 80's where we didn't have all this new federal spending. We are going to pay for this twice. when our grandchildren pay back the new money in the bill, and very shortly when inflation vastly outpaces any wage growth. God Bless you if you're on a fixed income.

SFC (Join to see) - I'm not on a fixed income. My agriculture related "hobbies" that I would do anyway bring in a solid income. And I have other revenue streams.

Maj John Bell - I am on a fixed income now but it's easy for me to pick up work whenever I want it. I am a fortunate person.

Exactly right. And the extreme weather isn't helping things either.
