Kansas SB12 would make it a felony to provide gender-affirming care to trasngender teens and adults under the age of 21. Critics say it would harm transgender youth, who already face elevated rates of depression and suicide.
WICHITA, Kansas — Legislation introduced in the Kansas Senate this week would make it a crime for doctors to provide gender-affirming health care to transgender teens and adults under the age of 21.
That’s drawn almost immediate criticism from some health care providers and transgender rights advocates arguing the state should leave difficult medical choices to families and their physicians.
Republican state Sens. Mike Thompson of Shawnee and Mark Steffen of Hutchinson cosponsored the bill that would make it a class 4 felony to prescribe hormone replacement therapy or puberty blockers to people younger than 21. Clinicians would also risk losing their medical licenses.

We don't let those younger than 21 buy alcohol in some states, why would we allow them to make life changing decisions like this?

The military will take 17 year old who can end up celebrating their 18th birthday in a war zone killing people
They can marry at 16 and enter into contracts at 18. So stop it with this BS. I've seen parents Iike you upon discovering their cjild is Trans or Gay turn their back on them. They throw them away like wrappers off of your fast food meal. Children left to fend for themselves on the street. No real woman could do that but a monster could and Lt. Col Charlie Brown people like you are enablers. You provide them comfort in their decision which makes you just as guilty Lt Col Charlie Brown.
For awhile I just thought it was an unwillingness to educate yourself on issues Lt Col Charlie Brown and others but I'm realizing the haters are taking some perverse pleasure in seeing children suffer. Only way it can be explained.
