The best thing about hate speech is that it allows jackasses to self-identify pretty quickly. Just think of it as them unintentionally performing a public service.

Yes it is free speech...as abhorrent and disgusting as some speech that is spewed out of some folks mouths is, it is still their right to say it unlees it is a direct threat...then it is no longer speech it is a threat and should be dealt with properly. But someone just speaking their mind is free speech and that is guaranteed in the Constitution and not open for interpretation IMHO.
