What!? Non-political ... but, but, but .. what about ________?? (fill in the blank with your least favorite politician).
Personally, I believe Jack was a goner no matter what. Well, there IS one option - boot Rose off and take her place. She's an empowered woman and should be able to survive on her own without Jack's help (I jest of course).

From someone who never saw the movie, I vote for survival. I believe I read a real life article where a guy was drunk as a skunk and survived. Maybe Jack and Rose needed to toast a few!!!

It really would have sucked being in ice cold water, freezing your ass off, and knowing nothing would change the circumstances. There have been people falling off cruise ships who treaded for hours thinking in the same manner.
