"AMC, the largest movie theater chain in the U.S., on Friday will start selling tickets at different prices based on where a seat is located in a given venue. The new approach, called "Sightline at AMC," prices seats based on how good their views of the screen are."

We will see if this is successful or not. My best way of saving money on tickets is to buy them early and get the better seat and go to an earlier show.
I noticed that if I go to a 2:00 PM or earlier showing, I have no problem getting the seats that I want but I don't have to pay anymore.

Have not been to the overly priced movie theaters in years. Why waste hard earned money, when it will be out on Redbox, Amazon. or whatever in just a few months.

Or available on Amazon NOW for $20, which is way cheaper than the theater if multiple people are watching.
