Let's celebrate Black History month with a story about the man responsible for millions of tickets! (Respectfully!) Morgan invented the traffic light in 1923 which we still use today, albeit much more electronically than the early days. Every day at my school during announcements we recognize an African-American that made a major contribution to our great country. I suggested this on to the leadership club. Thank you Garrett Morgan, you helped me get the last ticket I ever got back in 1985 in Chicago for running a red light (I still say it was yellow when I entered the intersection!).

The thing with the electronic oriented lights is that you can set the amount of seconds on each light's duration . You can make the green time be 1 minute, , the yellow light 2 seconds , then the red light 2 minutes.
Don't believe me , come to Pittsburgh. It's a well known intersection. Cops love it.

A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney - All the inventor really has to do it make an "improvement" to it and get a new patent! Drug manufacturers even pay smaller pharmaceutical companies NOT to copy it so they can keep the prices higher.
