Yes, we can do it again but the environmental left won't let nuclear power plants happen. What's really funny is if you hear in this parody in the movie airplane, the last guy to get beat up by Robert Stack says' for nuclear power'

PO2 Marco Monsalve agreed, the Church of the green New Deal doesn't want nuclear, doesn't want Natural Gas. They just want wind and solar and wave making machines. Kill the Falcons or eagles, kill the whales and the wind is unpredictable.

What's really sad is President Trump didn't finish the Yucca Mountain nuclear depository which had already had almost 10 billion dollars invested. I call it the Harry Reid nuclear depository because he was the one who shut it down.

There might be some environmental concerns but it was Engineers who picked that location to begin with and later people changed their minds.

I know that Bill Gates is coming up with some portable easily set up nuclear reactors that will drive the environmental left crazy but will give plenty of power. I guess we'll find out what Bill Gates does about it. At least these products won't have to be made in China because that's what bothers me is everything goes through china. The rare earth metals and everything get dug up by people who get poisoned worldwide or they get mine in the USA or elsewhere but they have to be refined outside of the USA because it's poisonous and those countries don't have EPA regulations like we do. These EPA regulations were there before President Trump so we can't blame Democrats but we do know that President Biden keeps adding more regulations, more rules and everything is environmental social governance so trying to get any infrastructure done in the future will be more expensive thanks to President Biden and his extra regulations.

I remember hearing government officials work for Trump who would only add one regulation for every four or five they would get rid of. It's the same Administration that had a 1.3 to 1.4% year to year inflation rate not a 6.5% year to year inflation rate like this inept Administration does now. It's amazing that the stock market is able to progress in spite of all the strangulation of regulations put by this Administration. The coal stock Peabody Energy went up 13% so the Church of the green New Deal will get very upset because coal companies can still make money.

I have stock in Peabody Energy

..."Megatons to Megawatts, explained
Formally known as the US-Russia Highly Enriched Uranium Purchase Agreement, the Megatons to Megawatts deal kickstarted the conversion of 500 metric tons of highly enriched uranium (HEU), the kind used in bombs, into low-enriched uranium (LEU), the kind that fuels nuclear power plants. That uranium generated 10 percent of US electricity over the course of 20 years.

At the time the program was created, the civilian energy was seen as just a nice bonus. Its main purpose was to address America’s national security concerns by whittling down the enormous Russian arsenal and securing nuclear material that experts feared might end up in the hands of terrorists or other rogue actors after the Soviet Union’s dissolution. For Russia, the exchange offered billions of dollars in revenue for its collapsed economy, integration into international institutions, and development of its nuclear industry into the global player it is today. Symbolically, it demonstrated that the Cold War as we knew it was over, and that the two countries possessing over 90 percent of the global nuclear stockpile were acting on their legal commitment to disarmament and the peaceful use of nuclear technology."...
