This is not too far from the truth because one of the idiots of President Biden tried to appoint to be the FCC chairman has stated that she did not think parody was considered free speech and it was considered disinformation and should be censored.
Elon Musk bought Twitter to avoid the Babylon Bee from being kicked off social media like it was under Progressive political pressure.
During the three week trucker protest in Canada, truckers who did not want to get vaccinated or who were in support of those who did not want to get vaccinated and go through a 14-day quarantine were subject to draconian emergency measures by the Canadian government to seize their bank accounts.
This actually happened.
On a serious note, I believe that the trucker protest in Canada showed to Democrats hungry for power in the USA that they better back off or it's going to get like this in the usa. A trucker protest was driving toward Washington DC when President Biden's finally started easing rules about out of country drivers no longer required to have a quarantine.
