Well, this certainly explains why Home Depot's customer service is crap.

Thay have gone to crap. Can't find anyone there anymore that can help you. They left their original business plan by the roadside somewhere. It's lost.

It's really amazing that states and companies cater to the mob up to the point that they are financially impacted. Then most cave like a liberal's house of cards (well, companies do. Government doesn't because it keeps being propped up by the people that are defending those policies - that's why most have just written off California - Honestly, they get what they vote for).

New York - We're taxing the income generators more - we're implementing 'woke' legal policies -- etc. When the conservatives and wealthy leave - Whaaa... You can't do that. It's your moral obligation to pay taxes here! Same with California and a lot of the other liberal cities and states.

Same with companies. "We're going to withdraw all investments that don't align with our ESG principles. If you don't have enough minorities on your board, then we drop you; If you are involved in that nasty, evil fossil fuel stuff, then we drop you; and so on." Reaction when states then tell them that "we are severing ties with you because you discriminate in your business" - Whaaa... You can't do that!

It appears all these organizations cater to people and/or organizations that yell the loudest.
