The Jan 6 committee was Democrats creating a false portrait of what went on. Was it wrong? Yes! It was not as violent as portrayed and there appears to be government provocateurs who were agitating and pushing for more violence. Stalin and Goebbels would be proud.

I agree, he does appear to be a moron and possibly unstable. But when did he cross the line and did the Capitol Police enable him by leading him around? I'd like to see a timeline consistent with the video showing when he crossed the line and how. Otherwise, it seems like he's been setup to simply be the scapegoat, meant to suggest he represents all conservatives or anyone on the right.
