My Statement to Congress

Matt Taibbi is amusing to me. Well, not HIM exactly, but the reaction of others to him.

He was dismissed by one side of the political spectrum and embraced by the other when he wrote as a political columnist the Rolling Stone and other liberal media back in the late 90s/early 2000s.

He was absolutely celebrated by some (and dismissed by others) when he wrote "Insane Clown President" and "I can't Breathe" just a few years ago and his article "Andrew Breitbart: Death of a Douche" was claimed to be a masterpiece by those same individuals.

Now that he calls out the apparent censorship and control of information by the government those same people that were singing his praises try to dismiss him entirely - paid shill, partisan only showing what he wants, 'so called journalist'.

Matt Taibbi has been involved in writing for 30+ years, is an accomplished author, has written critically about the left and right. He's been embraced by the left and the right at various stages in his career. If there is one thing that he's become passionate about in the last decade, it's his discussions about the left and right wing media.
