Seven local restaurants are proving just that.
Each has been nominated for a coveted James Beard Award.

Grew up there. My father and Arthur Bryant were friends as my dad worked on his restaurant equipment at the original restaurant. They still make awesome BBQ but it isn't the same as when he was making his secret BBQ Sauce. Also Italian steak sandwiches are the best in KCMO!
