Deadline USA came out in 1952. This free movie is available on YouTube. In this scene, Humphrey Bogart is trying to defend the paper from being put out of business. It is also covering a story about a gangster which the other newspapers won't cover it which reminds me of other progressive News Outlets not wanting to cover anything that goes against the Democratic Party or that threatens President Biden and his corrupt Son Hunter.
The movie talks about the paper being first, last and always and being in the public Trust.
We're now finding out that Bloomberg was told to refrain from publishing a story on Hunter Biden in 2015 and his dealings because it could affect Vice President Biden. Now we're finding out that some of the money was funneled to Vice President Biden and that's why Congressman Comer and others are doing a background investigation because China, Russia, and Ukraine could be compromising President Biden.
Humphrey Bogart said that the newspaper cannot be of one man, one leader or one country. It must maintain public Trust and it must allow for opinions.
I know others here will put examples of Fox News and the 2020 Election misinformation. Yes, at times, there are inaccuracies in Fox News. I say Fox is 98% accurate. I bet progressives are frustrated that Fox News has swept most of the top 10 most-watched TV news shows for the last 5 years. Nobody puts a gun to people's heads to watch FOX News. Fox and the mainstream all have good-looking newscasters so people go to where the news is. Nature abhors a vacuum so the MSM news shows lose viewers and ratings when they do not tell the full truth.
That being said, I notice "the Protect Biden Media" is slowly going back to Normal. USA Today, CBS News and others are publishing stories that are in line with Fox News. I use those brave stories to provoke the woke who do not realize or care that they are lied to quite a bit by the mainstream Biden Media.. I know many will run away like the Scared Knights of Monty Python and the Holy Grail when they see a Fox Story.
