This whole issue is multi-layered and most people look at the outer layer only...what is the real issue here? For one thing, what drives someone to want to change their gender?

If it wasn't for the draconian lockdowns brought down by power hungry leftist doctors and power hungry and corrupt teachers union, parents wouldn't have seen what kids were learning in online classes. The backlash over critical race Theory and gender identity issues would have probably not gotten much pressed and the school boards would have been able to indoctrinate and corrupt our kids even more but thanks to parents fighting back, this is now coming to the Forefront and the lgbtq and teacher Community are playing victim when they shouldn't have been bugging the kids to begin with. The kids should get their own identity and they can be gay or not straight or not but it looks like it's a coordinated Corruption of kids kind of like don't pushers giving small amounts of drugs to get kids hooked. It doesn't have anything to do with education but yet it's happening and yet the FBI is weaponized because parents are protesting and now we're finding out that the left is trying to intimidate parents who push back and don't want this agenda. What happened to the America that I once knew?

But indoctrination is not just in the united states, I live in Canada and I didn't know that the non religious schools are also pushing this agenda. Is really sad to see society's came in from within by Design.

I remember reading about a person who went transgender from female to male and he went to Holland to get assisted suicide Jack Kevorkian style because he called himself a frankenstein. It's bad enough that lgbtq people have higher Suicidal Tendencies to begin with but sometimes what they wish for ends up not being what they want. So pushing the agenda has unintended consequences people waking up later and changing their mind and realize they can't change her mind because they've been genetically altered and mutilated. Why should this agenda be pushed on kids? It's sick and unethical. Both countries have the legal age to make a decision as 18 to sign contracts, purchase a home Etc but yet a 10-year-old gets full protection by the corrupt authorities for mutilation reassignment surgery to be a Frankenstein. Or a female teenager having her breasts removed and being given a hysterectomy just because she wants to be a boy and then later regrets it later.

I am sorry but I can not get behind you on this, for people that are 18 or older and have some experience with life if that is what they want to do, more power to them, but not for someone so young.

I'm sorry what? You think someone who is 18 just magically gains "life experience" the minute they turn 18? Do you know the age of majority in a couple states is actually 19 - meaning they are not legally an adult until 19.

But I'll disagree with you that people who are "legally" adults have more "life experience" than minors. I guarantee you that the stuff my daughter has been through medically you would never handle and she's only 8 years old. Or the fact her oldest brother was beaten by his stepdad as a kid, put through the foster care system and then given BACK to the stepdad after the mom took off and started doing meth again. Then add in the fact by 16 his mom was doing meth with him and got him into stealing cares which has led to him being 20 years old and looking at 10 years in prison for possession and stealing cares. 20 years old - and suffered through all that abuse and lack of parental guidance and you don't consider that 'life experience?" PLENTY of kids have had to "grow up" in their teenage years or younger because of shitty absent or neglectful parents. Or getting pushed through the broken foster care system. Or dealing with medical issues that put them in and out of the hospital from infancy on. Age doesn't guarantee that someone has more "life experience." It just means they have been alive longer than someone else.

Gender affirming care for minors does NOT include surgery. The same puberty blockers trans kids get have been used by cis kids and NO ONE cared. No one cared until trans kids started to use them. Puberty blockers just pause puberty. Once you stop them, puberty starts.
