I hate to say this and it's with all due respect to those who went before me in my old unit, 162 Infantry, and their punitive trip to Mexico. What a colossal waste of time. At the end of the expedition, Pancho Villa was still roaming Mexico and no one was really punished.

My former unit, Oregon's 162 infantry was the first unit to report all accounted for after it was called up. Our unit crest reflects this, and the punitive expedition itself on the regimental crest. "First to assemble" and the cactus reflect the actions of 1916-1917.

Just wait until this triggers someone in the DOD and they strip the unit of this chapter in its history like many Guard units from Civil War linage.

1SG Russell S. I have no doubt that will happen. Just more imperialism against minority countries. Milley will be outraged.

We should do it again because the Mexican Government doesn't have control of its border but they're so sensitive to their sovereignty yet their sovereignty has been destroyed by the cartels at all border crossing.

Stupid President Biden and his homeland security secretary don't want to admit that there is a border problem because they want to admit illegal aliens into the USA to eventually displaced Republicans and make a super majority. President Biden is giddy of breaking the law and he knows it!
