PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - I think us older guys can appreciate technology far greater today than the younglings, since we know what life use to be like. My grandson can't even imagine a world without the internet or computers. ;)

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - I think our kids and grandkids benefit from knowing most of our past, but I don't think they need to know all the mistakes we made. I also think we can learn a lot from history, we don't have to make the same mistakes. My goal as a parent and grandparent, is that my kids and grandkids will understand the importance of a good work ethic, and that a person can accomplish a lot, if they set their minds to it. I knew all of my grandparents, and I know they worked hard.
The beautiful thing about kids and grandkids, they still love us regardless. ;)
