There are many ways to cut the budget, first thing - All in Congress, President, VP should forefelt all their pay until a balanced budge is achieved, no back pay as they get enough "perks" as there is, then they can resume their salaries.

But how is AOC going to pay-off her massive $17,000 in student loans if she doesn't have her $174,000 salary? I heard her impassioned speech from the House floor and it almost brought a tear to my eye with how dire her situation is.
