President Joe Biden balanced jokes with a reverence for a free press during his speech at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner on Saturday, roasting media figures, politicians and himself.
Biden, 80, nodded to recent media coverage about his age as he seeks another four-year term.
"Look, I get that age is a completely reasonable issue," he said, before sharing his perspective: "You might think I don't like Rupert Murdoch. That's simply not true. How can I dislike a guy who makes me look like Harry Styles?"
"Call me old, I call it being seasoned. You say I am ancient, I say I'm wise" Biden said. He then joked: "You say I'm over the hill, Don Lemon would say, 'That's a man in his prime,'" dragging the former CNN anchor days after Lemon was fired following his sexist and ageist comments made against Nikki Haley.

Because of President Biden’s inability to hold a regular press conference I don’t believe his age us any joking matter.

I'd add a slight change to 1SG's Gomez's comments - Biden's WRITERS were on fire as those comments were right off the teleprompter. As interaction after interaction with any serious question (not that he gets any of those spontaneously ... only if he has a cue card to read from) that someone hasn't written out the answer for him has shown 'all of the dolts saying he doesn't have cognitive issues are seriously damaged'.
