While a student at the Armor Officer Advanced Course at Ft. Knox in '83, I was given the task of interviewing Gen. Bruce C. Clarke, USA (Ret.) about his experiences in WWII and Korea, as well as his time as Continental Army Command (CONARC) CG. We wound up videotaping four hours of conversation on those topics.

I'll bet Clarke didn't care one bit that Marshall didn't know his name. But the men under him were glad he was there. A great defensive study.
