People in all states and on both sides of the aisle are pushing to restrict ANYTHING they don't agree with now. Education means discussing material you may not agree with

Teachers in an elementary school decided it wasn’t appropriate. It wasn’t “banned, it was moved to a higher grade level. Oh wow. If parents want their kids to read the poem they can read it to their kids. Liberals making a tempest in a tea pot.

Here is the rub for me...How bout this...DON'T BAN LITERATURE! Smut (i.e., Pornography or related materials other than sex education) ban it...there is no use for that until it is age appropriate...after that have fun if that is your thing. Classic literature nope...keep it. This goes for both sides pushing what they want kids to see in school and not see. There are those onthe lifet that want to ban Mark Twains s Huck Finn because it uses the N word...and those on the right that want to ban this young lady's work...One can find something offensive in any piece of literature...grow up...well how about this lets teach literature and keep politics out of it from all sides and quit using education as a damn pawn! Just a thought

There is too much going on that is trying to erase history. We have to learn from history so we don’t make the same mistakes again! Like we are already doing…
