Former Trump White House lawyer Ty Cobb predicts Donald Trump “will go to jail” for obstruction in the classified documents probe. As I posted before, I do not believe Trump will ever actually go to prison, for a couple of reasons.
First and foremost, his history shows a long battle before ever getting to court.
Second, there will be a constant barrage of appeals if he is found guilty of anything.
Third, there will continue to be a constant barrage of publicized claims that it is all political and some of the public will buy that and push for acquittal.
Fourth, the secret service dilemma.
And, fifth, his age. Will he be able to live through those preceding 4 issues?
