It boggles my mind that a company commander would go along with this, or that a PSG would let his PL do this.

SFC (Join to see) - Mayhaps the PSG just sat back to watch it unravel with the mentality of "Well, he wouldn't listen to me. I tried to tell him...."

I bet that PL had to be "retrained" how to walk after pulling the 18th Airborne Corps CGs entire boot out his fourth point of contact.

I'm thinking that boot was so far up there, the LT was able to taste the suede. And then needed an ENT and Proctologist to remove that boot.

I did not really learn what I could do, should do, and never do as an officer until I was a mid level captain and by the time I retired, I really enjoyed using my rank to protect others. Had I been in this PL chain, he would not have had any ass left for the BN or higher to get. Had an NCO once try to give an initial counseling on a federal holiday when the job was banker's hours with no need or requirement outside of those days. The counseling did not happen. We need to do a better job training leaders that subordinates do not work for us, we exist to take care of them and achieve the mission.
