Surprised they aren't demanding to work remotely as well.
Warehouse work is tough. It also pays well (I have a next-door neighbor that is a manager as a AWS fulfillment center). Does 'stuff happen' at times? Yep. But as Amazon stated, the 2022 injury rate was half of BLS's average for warehouses. Do some get injured? Yep. Is it dangerous? A lot less than working at a UPS or FedEx warehouse.
For a "warm body" type of job, yeah, it sucks. Good pay for an unskilled labor job (~$35k to start). Want better? Learn a trade (some really nice paying jobs out there without needing an overpriced degree) for something that is in demand.
