U.S. officials tell NPR that the Biden administration is expected to announce Thursday it will send cluster bombs, or munitions, to Ukraine to target dug-in Russian forces. The controversial weapons drop dozens of bomblets that human rights groups say endanger civilians.
Ukraine and Russia are already using cluster munitions on the battlefield, but Ukraine is running low on ammunition and has pressed the U.S. to send such weapons.

Just need to remember where you used them, and then sweep the whole area to clear the unexploded ordinance. Yeah, there's going to be some one legged kids walking around after these get used, but I think that it's time to meet fire with fire and fight the war the way wars are fought.
War is not humane. War is not precise. All of the do gooders who want to throttle countries ability to fight wars only create refugee crises. War targets civilians to press their governments to sue for peace. It's not about annihilating an army, it's about turning the pain of the people against the government to end the slaughter of civilians.
