Defund the police movement wrecks America's third-largest city

What a shame, it was such a great city. Out Democrat policies have destroyed it. I can't understand why they think these same policies will work differently across the rest of the United States.

I can't understand why people stay there in a Country where you can move. When I got out of school circa 80 there just wasn't any work around there. I borrowed $500 from my grandparents for a Grand Torino Station Wagon and drove down to Houston with $200 in my pockets for gas and rent until I could find work. I had a cooler filled up with food to eat. The first year was tough but a lot of fun. The good old days. :)
My grandparents wouldn't take a cent in repayment of the borrowed money, they just told me to be good to my mother. That's the Rest of the Story.
