I grew up in the Redwood Empire. In fact I was born in Redwood City, CA. Finished High school at Healdsburg.
I can remember seeing logging trucks coming through on the way to the lumber mills with a single log on the trailer. The logs were so large, the trailer could only hold one. Those days are long gone.
