Correction: Opposed by African-Americans. There were only a few on the committee, but their objections were overruled by others.

whether they agreed on it or not isn't the issue. It had majority black authors and was approved.
You can nit pik all you want, but black leadership wrote the standards. Period.

I always think decisions like this are interesting. Pulling out doesn't hurt Desantis...it hurts the economy of the area it would be supporting (16% African American as of 2020 census)
