84 Reps Want To Keep Ability To Carry Guns In Capitol, Say DC Is Unsafe

There are a lot of people unwilling to face the fact that modern society and its educational establishments are turning out cold blooded killers at a disturbing rate, so they blame the inanimate object, the gun. Blaming a piece of metal is much preferable to accepting in any way the fact that they are promoting failed policies.

I think it comes down to they want to follow their political base on the subject. Some of these Democrat politicians have armed escorts where ever they go yet they lecture us on gun rights. These are the same idiots who oppose the 2nd Amendment but it's perfectly okay to squash your first amendment rights whenever they feel it suits them. Lack of education on the subject is what's causing the discussion and their sheep are falling right in line with the rhetoric.
