Simple economics, that's how they keep the rest of the world hooked on their primary export. You can bet that if their uranium reserves were as huge as their coal reserves they would be pushing nuclear power plants. Their goal isn't the environment, it's making nations dependent on what they can sell to them.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen
LTC Stephen Conway Because they have lots of it and could care less about the environment. Remember the air quality during the Beijing Olympics?

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen yes their priority on their 5-year plan is not nuclear power plants. Pretty strange because countries like india, Japan and others have gone nuclear. I guess they're just Cheapskates and they would rather just buy it from abroad. Also, I remember during the covid lockdown we were able to do online courses on joint knowledge online and I remember doing a PCS transition to Japan and a PCS transition to South Korea and in the lesson plan, it talked about South Korea receiving a substantial amount of pollution from China that would drift over North Korea and South korea. So it's no accident that China does not care.
Bernie sanders, stupid AOC and Mr Magoo President Biden don't care because it's not in their backyard.
