The GOP Picks Donald Trump Over Democracy

..."Vanity Fair Trump’s third indictment, which outlines an alleged conspiracy to “impair, obstruct, and defeat” the federal process of certifying the 2020 election, is his most damning yet. (Trump has pleaded not guilty.) The fake-electors plot itself is as harebrained as you’d imagine. According to prosecutors, it included Trump lawyer Kenneth Chesebro writing in a December 13 email that the strategy “was not to use the fraudulent electors only in the circumstance that the Defendant’s litigation was successful in one of the targeted states,” but to “falsely present the fraudulent slates as an alternative to the legitimate slates at Congress’s certification proceeding.”

As with the previous two indictments, or in the aftermath of January 6, or stretching back to the Access Hollywood tape, there was a moment after the latest charges in which Republicans had a chance to untether themselves from the albatross that is Trump—and once again, they refused.

Republicans voters and donors could band together and elevate another candidate, even though most haven’t offered anything but weak Trump-adjacent futures for the GOP. Instead, donors and voters seem paralyzed by the inevitability of Trump. Perhaps they don’t acknowledge the damage Trump is doing to democracy—or they simply don’t care. But the fact that the 2024 field, with rare exceptions, isn’t even trying to offer a post-Trump, pro-democracy future is perhaps the worst indictment of today’s GOP."

If Elon Musk had not purchased Twitter now called X, we never would have known about the Deep State and the Biden Administration censoring or Shadow Banning shows that the administration doesn't like. We're not discovering that that the White House is putting pressure on social media to censor true statements about the covid vaccine or the origins of covid.

If President Biden was really a democratic as he claims he is, he would be prosecuting those people protesting in front of conservative Supreme Court Justices homes. The department of justice has told the US Marshals to leave them alone. But yet they'll turn around and arrest people praying in front of abortion clinics. The FBI will walk up and take the cell phone away of a guy they arrest when the cell phone is considered his own personal property. The FBI is investigating people protesting over the 1619 project critical race Theory and teaching about transgenderism at the elementary school level and the left of Vladimir Lennon Administration unleashes the FBI to go keep track of parents as domestic terrorists. Democratic to me? Look how President Biden has put the partial student loan bailout and the Supreme Court said no. Noticed that this is only to get votes and they rewrote the legislation which hasn't been voted by congress. Only Congress can forgive student loans but President Biden is in a golf Delta individual! He's now trying to do it again and now there's a temporary order halting it while it's under review. So the executive branch can't do it but he is a dictator that's trying to Curry favor with the young voters. Also, telling Homeland Security to allow illegal aliens to come in and be on parole for 3 to 5 years before they have their hearing instead of them staying outside of the country and making the president and his homeland security human traffickers goes against the Constitution! So I don't know where this Vanity Fair idiot gets his ideas from?

We know what his end game is, he wants to give an 8 years or sooner blanket amnesty to all illegal aliens hoping they'll all vote Democrat and then we won't have a democracy anymore we will have a supermajority of Democrats destroying the country just like California has.
