They haven's lived long enough (none of us has) to be able to ascertain if this is really Climate Change of another one of the Earth's normal fluctuations in climate. Scientists know from the past that the Earth has gone through a number of dramatic changes long before man was ever a factor.

IMO, common sense tells us that humans are a contributing factor in climate change. Just drive through any city with your window down.
