"I recently spent 24 hours with the US NAVY who put me through their toughest “brains vs. brawn” boot camp to see if I have what it takes to become an elite special warfare linguist. Can I survive a Chinese class at the world’s hardest language school (the Defense Language Institute) AND a grueling physical bootcamp to test my special warfare strength? Let’s find out! Make sure to check out @americasnavy to see me go head to head against two of the Navy’s finest CTI linguists in a language escape room challenge. And if you want to learn more about what it’s like to be a CTI (Cryptologic Technician Interpretive) make sure to visit https://www.navy.com/explore-the-navy..."

I was required to have a passing DLAB score but didn't have to have a language, it was an option I wish I had pursued. But I have been to Monterey a few times, retired from there. I miss the Chowder bowls on the Wharf.
