"According to reports on Monday, the strike could halt car assembly at the Fairfax plant due to a shortage of critical parts supplied by the Wentzville plant. Last week, GM warned workers of a potential shutdown at the Fairfax plant. It was noted that the plant could run out of parts this week due to the strike at Wentzville, a suburb of St. Louis."
