President Biden and Department of Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm have said over and over again that they're doing all they can to lower oil prices.
Recent examples of how Biden and his minions have screwed us over:
1. Taking back the leases that were signed by President Biden and Congress back in 2017 in the Anwar Alaska area. This will take jobs away from engineers and oil men of Alaskans of Inuit and Native American Heritage as well as some white people. Talk about equity! Haha No Royalties for Alaskans and the USG. How equitable!
2. Restricting oil leases in the Gulf of Mexico. Another example of putting America LAST
This was quoted in the Wall Street Journal recently:
The day President Biden was inaugurated, the price of oil was $55.66 a barrel. Today the price has soared to $94.58. While everyday Americans are concerned about putting food on the table and gasoline in their cars, the Biden administration is making performative sacrifices to climate-change deities and undermining national security.
Restrictions on domestic oil production do almost nothing to combat global warming. If the U.S. and other countries implemented their commitments under the Paris Agreement from 2030 onward, it would cost $1 trillion to $2 trillion a year and only reduce the global temperature increase by 0.05 degree Fahrenheit by 2100. The only way to address climate change substantively is to find clean-energy alternatives that undercut the price of fossil fuels. Yet the Biden administration pours hundreds of billions into inefficient regulations and subsidies, while neglecting research and development on new energy technology.
On a personal note, my cousin shook the hand of Hugo Chavez 20 years ago.
How did he do that?
He was the Honduran representative for the Organization of American States. The autocrat of Venezuela was being guarded by Cuban Secret Service. President Biden is making a deal with President Maduro of Venezuela who took over after Hugo Chavez passed away. So President Biden would rather kill our oil and energy industry at home and have Americans buy oil from a Venezuelan dictator like Maduro who is protected by the Cuban Secret Service.
The Biden Administration doesn't care about having domestic oil and energy production and keeping the money inside the USA.
All is virtue signaling by the Democrats trying to ban oil and energy use in the USA makes no difference because China is permitting two coal-fired power plants a week. India and China are given until 2070 to go NetZero because they're considered developing countries. India will switch to Natural Gas by 2070 while many American states are trying to get rid of natural gas by 2035. I'm sure that cooked food will not taste the same.
This is what happens when you get a president who is so Mr. Magoo, that he has leftist minions running the show and going extreme left to hurt the American economy, the American people and exaggerate the climate impacts and our carbon footprint that is probably way cleaner than most countries of the world but the Democrats in power don't care. They just want to punish us, taxes and bribe other countries to go to unreliable clean new energy like the $364 billion dollars that's in the fraudulently named Inflation Reduction Act. The Inflation Reduction Act is actually a miniature Green New Deal mixed in with some extra money for IRS agents.
Inflation is going up in spite of passing this bill.
By the way, the markets were really troubled today because the Federal Reserve is taking a pause but they'll probably raise interest rates again in the future because of sticky inflation caused by bad leadership of the Biden Administration.
The Biden Administration has surrendered its energy Independence to OPEC Plus and at the same time is trying to kill all oil exploration and refining in the United States through crony socialism through the regulatory state.
If this Were a Republican administration, you wouldn't need to raise interest rates to lower inflation, you would just drill baby drill! This goes against the gospel and dogma of the Church of the Green New Deal.
One more thing, we didn't vote on this. Republicans didn't vote with the Democrats to kill the internal combustion engine, to raise fuel economy standards to unbearable levels, and to force Americans to buy electric cars exclusively starting in 2035.

But now the automakers are being scared shitless because you're up is talking about slowing down the transition to Green energy and they've already invested billions in this crappy technology. The government's going to find out that there's going to be a lot of auto restoration and a big faction of Americans of all political parties that love the gasoline powered vehicle. Well we have to remember is that we didn't vote for this. Americans did not vote to go completely green. Another issue is that what President Biden has done in canceling leases in the Gulf of Mexico and in Alaska goes against the Constitution and federal law. What he's doing can be impeachable offense because he's bypassing Congress and failing to follow the law.
