It's really not that much different from when I was stationed on the border in the late 60s, just highernumbers. Back then it was individual's looking for work, today it's families looking too escape repressive governments. If Congres had responded to changing immigration causes decades ago there most likely wouldn't be what some like to call an immigration crisis today.

I agree but IMO, it goes further back than that. I can remember problems back in the '50's.
