The entire US Congress needs to get their act together for a change. It seems they have their fingers in far too much and can't seem to get much done. It seems language for instance that had when I was a Police Union leader in our contracts was the existing document remained in full effect until replaced by another agreement and if a time overrun new items for late signing would be retroactive to when the original agreement expired. Just why can't they apply the same sort of measure ?

SMSgt Lawrence McCarter: So true and they can't even get their act together to elect a Speaker. Their thoughts are too self centered and not about the American people. Those who want to fight, send them to Gaza and let them have their way because they aren't doing any good for us in Congress.

Separate the bills, take out the earmarks and poof, it's done.

Has to be brought to a vote first and the House can't seem to even do that.

Doesn't matter, the Senate Democrats won't vote for it unless it meets their priorities.

I like that CMSgt Marcus Falleaf. However, something that simple might be beyond their scope of implementation.

It's gone beyond tragio-comedy and it's high time they start doing their job and put budgets together. Balanced and with spending cuts.
