"Donald Trump's ally and former attorney Rudy Giuliani is likely to evade fees he owes election workers he has defamed, the individuals said in a court filing Friday.

Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, two Georgia election workers who were falsely accused of committing election fraud by former President Trump and his allies, in July celebrated former Giuliani's admission that he made false claims about them. Giuliani, once known as America's mayor, said he admitted that he lied in order to speed up an appeal.

Giuliani has been facing the prospect of severe sanctions after attorneys representing Freeman and Moss argued that he failed to turn over electronic communications he made despite having had ample time to produce them."...
