Some veterans are "easy pickings" for scammers. I no longer accept any calls from numbers I don't recognize; I use a screening service for all my calls now.

I don't either, my home phone/answering machine displays the number on both the handset and on my TVs, if I don't recognize it or it doesn't tell me who it is i let the answering machine take it (I refuse to use my Cell for any health business).

One thing everybody should know is that no VSO charges for its benefits assistance services. If approached by someone offering to assist you for a fee, you can bet it's a scammer!
