The Army :(. So, create a new career Recruiter MOS….., create a study group……make USAREC a 3 star job now……and USAREC reports direct to the Sec of Army…..

Just how many generals does the Army have now? I find reference that the Army is capped at 231 GOs. That divided by a force structure of 452,000 is about 1 GO for every 1957 Soldiers. Seems like a bit of overkill as for example a BCT(Brigade Combat Team) has a strength of around 4K+ and is commanded by a Col 06.
Anyone think the Big Army will ever say…”hmmmm perhaps we have too many chiefs and not enough Indians.”
