I don't think he'll gain a lot of traction, but he will pull some democrat voters. He isn't quite center enough to pull independents or libertarians though.
Anybody can run for President, and since his party is blocking his path as a Democrat and kicking Biden to the curb, he had to find another way to the nomination. Still can't win, but he can be heard.

PO3 Shayne Seibert His chances are slim to nil. The only person I can remember gaining any traction as an independent was Ross Perot and he didn't get a single electoral college vote. He just helped Clinton win while cutting Bush's chances.

A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney - Remember back in 1980 when Ted Kennedy ran? He didn't win the primary. The name isn't as popular now as it was then so I'm sticking with my statement of slim to nil.
