Unfortunately the current National Security Advisor is a moron and doesn't know how to do his job or see clear threats. Just two weeks ago he was bragging about how quiet the Middle East was, how he can now concentrate on other regions, and not really pay attention to that Region. Any Intelligence Officer worth their salt knows; if something/place/bad actor/person is too quiet, that's when you better get paranoided, and look into the situation deeper. We can never take our eyes off in the Middle East. Unfortunately this warning you've posted will probably fall on deaf ears, with the current Administration, and our politicians in general.
