Our Planet Earth is a very small blue dot located within the Milky Way Galaxy, so that when we look up an the sky on a crystal clear night we many see as many as 5,000 Stars..., but those Stars, ( like our own Sun) are not the Universe, but just those we can see within our eyesight as part of the Milky Way!!! It's all a part of God's domain...
This Video 'Short" will help you put into perspective the size of the Universe, in steps... I hope you find this interesting and stretches the amount of your knowledge of the "Space" around us in our own small backyard we call Earth!

The size and sheer number of possible life holding planets in our, and other galaxies is amazing.
To think that we are the only ones with a habitable place to live is hubris. With Trillions of stars in our own Milky Way, there is no doubt that the same conditions that allowed us to come into being exist elsewhere.
I really enjoy seeing things like this. We can only see a very small patch of the branch that we spin on, and the fact that it would take 100k years to cross our little galaxy is mind boggling.
