So what is it like to fight in Gaza as a soldier of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF)?

Eyal Biram was a captain in the IDF and fought in the 2014 Gaza War, also known as Operation Protective Edge.

Newshour’s James Menendez spoke to Biram who explained the difficulties of urban warfare.
