'A diminished figure': Columnist says Trump is weakened by loyalists flipping

All of the erstwhile allies of former President Donald Trump cutting deals with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis in the Georgia election racketeering case is a sign of the former president's power shrinking from what it once was, wrote Moira Donegan for The Guardian on Friday.
This comes after attorneys Sidney Powell, Kenneth Chesebro, and Jenna Ellis, who all played roles in the scheme to overturn the 2020 election, pleaded guilty — sometimes throwing other members of Trump's inner circle under the bus in the process.
"The dominoes began to fall," wrote Donegan. "Willis’s generous terms to the cooperating witnesses – along with the growing number of testimonies that are now lined up on the prosecution’s side – seem to have incentivized other co-defendants in the Georgia case to flip."
"How does Trump feel, watching all of these former loyalists agree to testify against him?" wrote Donegan. "Trump stands now a diminished figure, still ominous and still very much capable of winning a presidential election, but increasingly isolated. On the one hand, his various criminal and civil cases are distracting him from the campaign trail, and he seems doomed to lose many of them; on the other hand, his grip on the Republican presidential nomination is so firm that his challengers increasingly look silly for running against him, and he seems to have retained at least some degree of kingmaking power in the House, where this week he was able to instantly sabotage the short-lived speakership candidacy of the Minnesota congressman Tom Emmer."
All of this, she continued, added up to a moment at Trump's civil fraud trial, in which, when a reporter asked the former president about Ellis' guilty plea, he responded, “Don’t know anything, we’re totally innocent of everything.”

It’s extremely sad that liberals have nothing better to post about except slamming Trump for some BS witch hunts when their terrorist buddies Hamas have slaughtered over 1,400 innocent civilians in Israel to include Americans. They can’t even post anything about the millions of illegals Biden has personally allowed to invade our country to include Iranian terrorist. They could be posting about real crimes being committed by the Biden crime family’s dealings with Russians, Ukrainians and Iranians. How about the economy that Biden has personally destroyed to include destroying our entire energy sector. Oh and how about the billions he’s allowing Iran to make off selling oil behind our backs and the 6 billion dollars he just released to Iran to fund all Irans terrorist proxies that are currently killing American citizens, holding them hostage and attacking our bases in Iraq and Syria. Oh or how about their truck loads of bullshit so called humanitarian supply they’re currently sending “directly” to their terrorist buddies Hamas while secretly pressuring Israel to delay or stop their ground attack to kill all those worthless bastards that are slaughtering babies, raping women, murdering Americans and kidnapping and then using all those innocent hostages as human shields or bargaining chips to get what ever they want because they know Biden will give them any and everything because he’s weak. Its really disgusting to know that Biden’s giving these terrorist and Iran everything they need to destroy Israel while he’s at the same time secretly slamming Israel behind closed and I pray the Israeli’s tells him to go screw himself and don’t stop but instead speed up until they’ve killed every damn last one of those pos terrorist so this crap will finally come to a stop so the Israelis can once in far all time live in their country without having to worry about being blown up, slaughter, raped or beheaded. But hey, the liberals have no problem with Hamas, Iran, Russia or China because they feel there’s nothing there. They are more concerned about slamming Trump on some BS charges from a racist Georgia hag prosecutor that said if elected her number one job was to get Trump, or a bias self admitted Trump hating judge that is disqualified to judge Trump fairly because of his own hate for Trump and lastly a corrupt racist Trump hating NY DA thats also charging Trump for some BS. No liberals or more worried about Trump because they HATE him. I would be more worried about braindead Biden possibly getting us into World War III because of his incompetence and his love for terrorist and countries that shout death to America, death to Israel and their now trying to actually carry it out because Biden and his liberal pals are a bunch of weak,,woke Americans last hypocrites.

And, no, I do not think Trump is dead politically. That scares the hell out of me. He has posted many times that he will seek revenge if he gets back into the White House. He has posted many times he is not required to support our constitution. He has posted many times his disdain for our fallen brothers and sisters in our military. He idolizes dictators. He is a self absorbed narcissistic conman that belongs behind bars. He is a criminal. He violated a long list of Federal Laws.
