Most right-wing ideology functions on "belief". Principally because it cannot function on facts and evidence.

Someone may want to let Russell know that he can thank the "communist wannabe enclaves" of CA, DC, OR, WA, and NY for propping up the failing economy of his backward-ass state through their taxes and all the Federal assistance provided to taker Red states. But I bet taking handouts is just how he does business.

SPC Carl Davis just a sampling of what to expect...
..."Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) said Wednesday he believes Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has “committed impeachable offenses,” but stopped short of backing an impeachment effort.
“I mean, it’s inexcusable what he’s done. I believe he’s committed impeachable offenses, but we only have so much time and resources to go after that,” Johnson told Fox News’s Sean Hannity in an interview.
Johnson said he previously told Mayorkas he’s “not sure” what he has done for the southern border, other than cause “great harm.”...

At the end of the day it remains the Democrats could have voted for a Republican Speaker more people can support but no, they had to let the far right GOP get their way. If Dems had voted for Jordan we would not have Johnson.

So you expected the Democratic to support either traitor. One being too stupid to know better and the other knowing better but choosing to have S... for brains.
If the Republicans were actually smart they would have voted for a dem speaker and would have the perfect cover for their screw ups but no they couldn't miss a "hold my beer" chance to prove their stupidity.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - So two things were pretty clear with the Speaker race, the GOP was going to be 1) dumb and dumber and 2) not cast a vote for any Democratic nominee. So understanding these two facts, the Democrats could have changed this. I cannot stand the extreme right of the Republican party, Marjorie Taylor Greene is a joke along with Matt Gaetz. Those yahoos were going to lock the House up until they got their way and with Johnson they got that. Go ahead and questions my leadership as two things here are certain, 1) I am retired and will never lead another damn thing and 2) Congress saw fit to advance me further than you. My promotion to major was under Obama with either a complete democratic Congress or a split one, so there's that for your Democratic party faith. I am about solutions and just about anyone would have been better than Johnson and circling back, the GOP was not going to vote for a Democratic speaker, they are too dumb and partisan to do that and unfortunately the Dems are not smart enough to stop being partisan either and allowed one of the worst to become Speaker.

MAJ Byron Oyler - This from a guy that supports a party that makes their candidates sign a "loyalty pledge". How very Gestapo. Get your bullshit out of here.
