Good Sunday morning, my Brothers and Sisters in Arms!
I came across a most interesting piece of Astronomy / Astrophysics and deals with the largest planet known in our vast Universe... No, not our Solar System, Not our Milky Way Galaxy, but in the visible Universe! It's known as "HD 100546 B"! This video "Short" provides a perspective of how big it is by the volume of "Earth's" it could contain...

Good morning Sgt (Join to see). I think two things: Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen is right, and that planet HD 100546 B is an example of a body that gravity helped create through accretion, but there wasn't sufficient mass present for it to become a star (e.g. mass collapsing the force of gravity allowing nuclear fusion to start).

Scientists have often cited the same about our Planetary 'Jupiter' as well... I agree with you, in that the size of planet HD 100546 B would be another possible "Sun" that just couldn't quite make it...
