That is not why he is not attending.
Trump is acting as the presumptive nominee - mostly because he *is* the de facto presumptive nominee, even if not the de jure one - just like Biden. Neither Trump nor Biden have anything at all to gain by going to a primary debate. So they don't.
If Trump was involved in 0 legal cases, he *still* wouldn't go.

I am still trying to find all these people that want Trump again. He was good for my pocket book and gas tank but many of us feel there are better options than either Trump or Biden. I like Tulsi Gabbard and Nikki Haley. Not trying to elect a woman, the two I like the best happen to be women. Desantos would not be bad if he would stop trying to be Trump junior.

MAJ Byron Oyler I am not a Trump fan, either. I am not voting for him in 2024 no matter who is on the ballot (and I am not eligible for the primary).
